We are Findmy
Findmy is made by farmers for farmers. We develop solutions that provide a better overview of the animals and make it easier to monitor them throughout the grazing season.
It started with sheep that didn't come home
In 2009, Marit and Arnstein lost approximately 25% of their flock on open grazing land. This enormous loss caused frustration over the lack of technology and tools available for open grazing areas without mobile coverage.
Large parts of Norwegian open grazing land lack mobile coverage, and a tracking bell needs to last an entire grazing season without charging. The solution became satellite: a transmitter that sends GPS positions via the satellite network, with a battery that lasts several grazing seasons. Together with Marit's brother Halvor and Håkon Innerdal, they launched the first commercial product in 2013.
Since then, we have maintained the same principle: it must work where the animals actually are, and it must be simple enough to be used in the mountains on a snowmobile, in the forest in the rain, and in challenging terrain without coverage. We are still in Kvikne, with seven employees in the white house by the road, three in Trondheim, three in Oslo, and three good colleagues in Spain.

Most are farmers
We develop the hardware, software, and solution ourselves, and we answer the phone ourselves. Many of us are farmers, just like our customers. The distance between us and the use of the system is short. Our employees actively use the system in their personal operations.
Do you have animals on open grazing land? Call us.
We'd be happy to chat about your grazing team, animal species, and what suits you. Our phones are answered by people who know the open grazing areas.
