How the price is built
Three parts. Which ones you pay for depends on the model.
Base price
Paid every month, all year, for each e-Bell — even when it is in the drawer. The price per e-Bell goes down the more you have.
Mobile data package
Covers all positions sent over the mobile network. Paid for each started month the e-Bell is active — one day in June counts as all of June.
Satellite message
Every position sent via satellite costs the same. If the e-Bell sends less often, you pay less.

With 12 e-Bells the price tier is 11–19, and the base price is €0.77 per e-Bell per month. It is paid every month of the year. In the 4 grazing months the data package of €0.69 per e-Bell comes on top.

How the e-Bell sends
The e-Bell takes a GPS position and sends it to the app at the times set in its setup. How it sends and how often decides what you pay for.
Model Blue
The position is sent over the mobile network, like a mobile phone. You can send as often as you like at no extra cost. Requires mobile coverage where the animals graze.
Model Green
The position is sent up to Globalstar satellites and on to the app. Works in the mountains and in valleys without mobile coverage. Each position costs €0.13, so you set the price by how often it sends.
Model Red
Tries the mobile network first. Only when there is no coverage does the position go via satellite. So satellite positions are usually few, while you still get a position where the mobile network does not reach.

Price per e-Bell per month. The price tier is set by how many e-Bells you have of each model. Highlighted: your price tiers.

Do I pay the base price when the e-Bell is not out grazing?
Yes. The base price is paid every month all year, whether the e-Bell is in use or not. It covers the subscription, the app and the maps.
What does "started month" mean for the data package?
If the e-Bell sends over the mobile network once during a month, you pay the data package for that whole month. Switch it on on 28 May and you pay for both May and June.
How do I control how many satellite positions are sent?
You choose how often the e-Bell sends in its setup in the app. Fewer positions per day means a lower price. Alerts, such as an animal standing still for a long time, are sent in addition to the scheduled positions.
Why is the base price lower when I have more e-Bells?
The price tier is set by how many e-Bells you have of each model. All e-Bells of the same model get the price of that tier.
Are the prices in the calculator exact?
The base price and data package are fixed. The satellite cost depends on how many positions are actually sent, so the final amount may differ slightly from the estimate.
